I have just purchased a Mustang vintage solo seat for my FXDI and am wondering if anyone has any info regarding the comfort and look of this seat? Also does it raise or lower the seat height at all from the stock 2 up seat?

 

I have no experience other than pictures on this forum and a couple I have seen on the street. Mustang makes a great seat along with Corbin (I know their solo is nice). All the one's I've seen lower the seat height. Solo's look really cool[sm=icon_rock.gif]

No clue on that but I did order a custom made seat from Corbin at no extra charge, they lowered it moved the seating position up 1" and narrowed it at the front.

 

Most Mustang seats lower and move you up an inch or so each way. I have put Mustang on my last two bikes and have been Very pleased.

 

I'm confused. When I spoke with bot Corbin and Mustang, they both told me that their seats would raise me up an inch to an inch and a half over stock, because they were thicker. Would any of you who have either oif these seats please gibe me feedback as to whether you were sitting higher, lower or the same after the change. Also what kind of seat. Thanks a lot. Art

 

I have a Mustang Touring seat for my Sloptail when I take THE MAMA for a ride. It is much thicker than my LePera Cherokee, and a little thicker than the old stock seat.

 

I can't really speak to height on a corbin solo, but I definitely feel that I'm sitting farther forward.
