Default Vance & Hines Fuelpak for EFI bikes...thoughts?

I've been a bit skeptical about this product but last week I took the plunge and purchased the Fuelpak along with new V&H pipes and a V&H high flow intake system.

I gotta say it's a pretty sweet little computer.

My last bike (EFI Springer Softail) had the same stuff minus the Fuelpak, it sounded good but never quite ran perfectly.

What a difference this thing makes on my current ride, sounds fantastic and runs as smooth as ever. I'm sold on this product.

Just sayin.........

Anybody have any thoughts/experiences about the Fuelpak....good or bad?

Got one on my Ultra (with V&H Ovals). Works fine for me right now.

I bought one and wasn't happy with it. The map for my setup didn't work very good and V&H's tech support wasn't helpful. I ended up buying a PCIII and am extremely pleased with it. If you ever decide to have any engine work done, you will be much better off with a Power Commander.

several low budget Fuel management system out there will do ok,, they just change Ur A/F ratio... cant do anything else with them.... Also U cant fine tune and I've read several that claim poor fuel mileage with them...Still don't seem too bad for what they are...

Post back after you get some mileage results. I'm thinking about this as well, but I've heard some comment on dramatically decreased fuel mileage.

I have one, with the HD download, my mileage did not change, but the heat did. It increased my power too.

Happy with mine. Better mileage, less heat and runs spot on. I also changed slip ons 5 times looking for the right ones and I didn't need to bother anyone for a new map, just get it online. Oh, and install is 10 minutes tops, unless you're challenged that way.

I think you need the fuelpack if you start fitting fancy pipes and high flow filters.

I used the FP on my bike, even added a cam and 95" kit. FP worked great!

On my Ultra, it actually went up. I'm getting 44-45 MPG with mixed riding...highway, busy city, 1-up, and 2-up combined. I can get over 50MPG if I ride it some what conservative (no quick launches, etc), and am solo on it.

You'll hear mixed reports on mileage no matter what you use. I've heard the same things with PCIII, PCV, TTS, etc. I think any performance mod on the bike "encourages" the rider to ride a little more aggressively, as it seems more fun to do so with the extra performance they get.
