That is very cool. I want one! One of my dream bikes is a old BMW R68 with sidecar.

Yeah, an old Beemer with a Steib is the classic sidecar rig. For what I've got in mine, I could have done that. And they are so freakin' awesome. The Ural rigs are also very cool. But...I wanted modern reliability. I set out to get as much of an "old school" look as possible, but with a Harley pusher and current technology. I would ride mine anywhere, without hesitation (at least without hesitation based on the machine).

By the way, the Spyder also works pretty well on an old Beemer (or a new one) (pic is from the motorvation website):

great pics,man,and congrats!!

and remember that you can unbolt it in about 5-10 minutes, and if you do so just remember to put yer feet down

after ya get some more experience with it ya won't be wrestlin' with the bike so much...gettin' that thing dialed in perfect after it's all settled/broke
in will smooth the ride out some, too.

here's some older pics of a friend's '78.5 FXS

That is too cool!!!! Your kids will be the talk of their school. Very nice pictures and thanks for taking the time to post them. Not only is the side car bada$$ but your Superglide is also one fine machine! Love those bars and the speedo set up. When you bought your Superglide did you already have the side car in mind? This is just too cool!!
