Couple of miles of road and then a sh_tty 2 mile dirt road. Man that was a blast & I had to learn quick! Scared the crap out of the seller. Brought it home. My 87 1100..see sig...

Back in the early 70s a friend had a black dirt bike type Harley I think it was like a 50cc 2-stroke but what was very different is the 3-speed shifter was on the right hand grip. The first Harley I rode on the street was a 1956 chopped kept that bike for almost 4 years worked on it more than rode but it was mine and when I rode it was a great feeling, still get it now almost 35 years later.

My cousins 2001 Road King! I rode that bike about 20 miles and when I got back to the family picnic we were attending I told the wife right then and there that we are getting a Harley touring bike. I hadn't ridden a steet bike in about tens years at that point, but man did it feel good.

First Harley I ever rode was a Sportster chopper with a kicked out springer front end.
Can't remember what year engine (68 or 69) it had in it but I damn near killed myself on the blessed thing.
Sure wish I had it now.
