Ape King....yup, I agree with the locktite...seems you can't have enough of that stuff. Last year my right and left passenger boards both came off at different times. Today the back shifter peg ended somewhere on the highway. Hope whoever finds it enjoys it cause I sure won't be. I guess its off the the HD dealer for more parts.

... parts don't generally fall off of stock bike's. It happens when owner's change things and fail to locktite em. Same for oil leaks, failing to use proper gaskets etc.

I use the blue stuff-maybe I should upgrade to the red locktite...I don't wont to lose anything else.......I lost a chrome pivot bolt cover that I used blue locktite on before.

Or an upper motor mount for a 2K FLHTCUI!
Half way back to N.Y from Sturgis last year my horn quite working........pulled in to a dealer in Geneva N.Y and found out that the horn is grounded through the upper mount, of which I had N-O-N-E!
Is that why my "rice riding buddies" tell me to drag a magnet behind me on a rope so the WHOLE harley gets home?!
