On another HD forum there is a comment about the V-Rod being discontinued, production has ceased for the 2010 models and there is no --rumours about the 2011 model.

Time to start the " I talked to someone that talked to his cousin that knows someone at the factory" stories.

 

I heard the same thing from a local Buell racer here, but who knows?

yes they are stopping production of all but the sportster lineup, and it will be available in either fuschia, magenta, cotton candy, and rose petal.

I heard that some Harleys will be painted black in '11, but I don't believe it.

 

I heard that Harley has been secretly manufacturing a new bike in Los Lobos Mexico. Word is that they have put the 1200 motor from the XR into a 2" stretched soft tail frame. It's got a 200 on the rear, 24" seat height and looks like a cross between a bobber and a chopper.

I'm savin' up my money starting now!!

Just a guess we'll see more optioned up touring models from the factory (like the Ultra Limited).
Perhaps an Ultra Road Glide, I think I read that rumor here, might have been last year.
I'd also predict improved ABS in the next few years.

Could go back and look at the rumors from previous years, most are probably the same.

 

That would make that a Bopper, right.
