I'm thinking maybe Sturgis and Bikes, Blues and BBQ (is that what it's called?) in Arkansas.

going to Daytona again and taking my first trip to Sturgis

 

Just the local stuff... and charity runs....

 

Well, I would like to shoot up to Sturgis for the first time, and then I would like to make a trip out to the Grand Canyon just for grins..and find a bunch of riders here and do some rides or poker runs. I really need to ride with a group so i can get used to running in formation down the road.

 

Only 1 ... maybe 2 ... events ... but I have lots of other rides planned.

February - Phoenix
March - Death Valley
April - Sedona/Flagstaff
May - Coast to Coast (LA to Kitty Hawk then to NYC)
June - Americade (only event, so far)
July - Estes Park
August - Eureka, CA then down the Pac Coast to LA

There is a chance I'll go to Sturgis this year, so that would be a 2nd event. Probably do that before heading across to Eureka or northern, CA.

Last year I only got in Tuscson and a ride to Oklahoma City. I put on less than 5000 miles all year, which is low for me. I got sick in June and was pretty much down the rest of the year. I had major surgery in early October, and I'm starting to get back to fighting weight. So this year I'm hoping to make up some of those miles.

 

I'm hoping to go to Sturgis this year, but it depends on the finances and whether I can get that week off. I do plan on going to Thunder in the Hill Country rally in late March/early April, West Texas Black Gold rally in July, and Golden Aspen in Ruidoso in Sept.
I'm also planning on riding out to the Grand Canyon in May.

 

Watch out for the giant alligator. Other than riding to my granddaughter's high schools graduation in Golden Colorado, I'm going to Bikers Blues and BBQ in Fayetville, Arkansas.

 

No events.......not into them.....I prefer to spend my time actually riding.....but a month long trip from Toronto to Las Vegas via Colorado, Arizona Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, South Dakota, More Colorado and then South to the Big easy and head east to do the Blue Ridge and north towards home.....if i have a few extra days i will do New Hampshire and Maine.........
The wife and i will have a retired buddy coming on this years ride....his first one to the west.

 

Of course Laconia Bike Week (since it is at home), a trip to Montreal via VT Rt 100, a week in Nova Scotia and a trip to York, PA.
