You can drain it cold and leave it draining overnite since it's raining with no end in sight. Warming it up is better but if you let it drain long enough cold it'll be ok.

I prefer to get the oil warm before changing it. Usually takes 10-15 minutes in the garage, or a short 5 mile ride.

+1 on the seafoam, mainly because there's going to be some left in the crankcase after the drain and refill. You should idle the bike for a couple minutes anyways, because the oil injectors don't fire at idle allowing for more to be scavenged to the pan. At least if I'm interpreting the manual correctly.

Using the Rogue Scavenger will get that last quart of dirty oil out of your bike, they work well.
