Quick Oil Change Question...Please Bear with me!

You can drain it cold and leave it draining overnite since it's raining with no end in sight. Warming it up is better but if you let it drain long enough cold it'll be ok.

+1 on the seafoam, mainly because there's going to be some left in the crankcase after the drain and refill. You should idle the bike for a couple minutes anyways, because the oil injectors don't fire at idle allowing for more to be scavenged to the pan. At least if I'm interpreting the manual correctly.

I change mine cold. Open the drain plug pull the dip stick. The oil in the filter does not run out as fast as its cold I use a piece of card board to let the oil from the filter into the drain pan. Do you guys think the Service Dept changes the oil on a warmed up Bike I don't Think So.
