Don't care what my FF looks like. When I was looking for one, I wanted one that had the best venting, best field of vision and was light. I bought the X-11 and love it.

I actually have that helmet- never worn it- I stick with my basic all black modular.

 

That one looks cool.....as long as you can take the Simpson stickers off....

im sure with a blow dryer or heat gun they come right off.

my problem with helmet is probably your problem too.
i have about a 6 inch or longer full beard. and the damn strap gets stuck in it and i pull out what seems like half my beard fastening and un fastening the helmet. and i have both helmets with a strap and quick disconnect. they both suck

 

Yeah my beard is pretty long too and always gets caught. I HATE the quick disconnect on my helmet, really prefer the D rings instead

 

Stick with a solid color helmet, preferably black. Perhaps to offset your concerns about how you look, you can put some stickers on it that say "Bad *** Biker" and maybe a skull & crossbones.

 

Mandog's got the Helmet for me. I wonder if it comes in XXL though. Check out his pic in this thread...thats some funny shi!!

 

Matte Black regardless of model. I just bought an AFX-20 as a closeout from Dennis Kirk for around $60 including shipping. It fits fine and is DOT - and yes, it's matte black. It's my winter/long trip helmet of choice.
