heh, i'm 35 and my first bike will likely be the 2010 fat boy lo.

 

Back in the mid-80's I took a Honda Rebel 250 from a friend instead of the money he owed me. Ended up riding the crap out of it so I guess, by chance, it started a love affair with motorcycles. Man, I put about 15k miles on it that one summer and don't ever remember changing the oil in it or anything. Sold it and went 25 years until I bought my next bike, a HD. With all the responsibilities that came with raising a family, it felt unbelievable to not only get back on a bike, but a "real" bike that I had dreamed about all those years.

Not my first, but I had a Garelli that someone gave me when I worked in a bike shop in 1972. I got it running but it was still ugly. Single cylinder, I think it was a 125. It was so slow I didn't even want to take it on public roads.
