Default Riding in Georgia

We are thinking about moving to Georgia. Does anyone live or have ridden in Georgia? Houses and weather are great, but don't know about the riding. That would be a deal breaker. Were looking around Flowery Branch area.

Thanks for the input. Sounds great. We live in Mass and sick of looking at my bike sitting in the winter. We just want ride all day long. Been down south many times. The people are the best and know how to live. We have family in Flowery Branch. Were just waiting for the housing market to turn around some here, so we can sell the house and make a move.

Flowery Branch is a great area - home of the Falcons. Nice HD dealership right in the area Frazier's. Riding in GA is pretty good, especially North of the city where you are looking. Easy rides to locations like Stone Mt. or Helen. Not to mention, easy to get up to the Carolina's. As for the weather, the winters seem to keep getting colder - nothing an extra sweatshirt can't overcome...

I live in Johns Creek/Alpharetta (North Metro). 1 1/2 hours from the foothills. Less than 3 hours to the Tail of The Dragon and Blues Ridge Parkway. Originally from Florida - died and gone to heaven here!

Riding any where in Georgia beats the h3ll out of looking at the bike in the garage. North Georgia around Helen, Blueridge, Brass town Ball, all great places to ride, but going south of Atlanta is the quickest way to the beach.

I also live in Johns Creek/Alpharetta area! Personally, I think the riding here is one of the best areas in the country! We have a 12 month riding season, great rides everywhere and it always gets better the further north you go. I'm a long time Frazier's customer (just bought the new scoot in the sig photo) and they have Sunday rides! You cannot go wrong here as far as riding is concerned!

Yup to all of the above...We have the best riding in the south-land right here.

Hope you work near Flowery Branch tho....Traffic to Atl is pure freakin' torture from that part of the world.

Got to agree with most of what you say, but does Al Gore know your winters are getting colder? If he does, he might move to GA and that would be great for those of us in TN.
