I love the riding in North Georgia! We currently live in Florida but we own some land around the Hartwell area and we will be moving there and building a house in 3 years. I can't wait to move up there. The people and the roads are fantastic, I wish I could move tomorrow, we make it up to the area at least once a year and really enjoy it.

Man, you would enjoy it down here. The North Ga. mountains are a treat to ride. Close enough for a day ride into Tenn. or the Carolinas. Plus the Southern Hospitality can't be beat and the Southern cooking is outa site.

Lot of good points mentioned. Lot of good riding outside the city of Atlanta. I live minutes from HD of Atlanta and Earl Smalls HD. They are pretty good. One thing already mentioned is if you want to take a road trip to Myrtle Beach, Daytona or Panama City you are in a great central location and a days ride away.

Personally, I like Frazier's HD. They do all my service work. Yea, the owners aren't always congenial, but the staff is good.
Triple Play in Buford has an awesome Bike Nite.
The only thing truly missing here are great biker bars like they have down in Florida.
