I live in the Johns Creek area as well...as everyone else has said...great riding in the area, especially to the north around Helen and up into TN (Cherohola Skyway <sp>). 4-5 dealers in the area. Lots of charity rides, etc nearly year round.

Not to steal this thread, but the wife and I are also looking to move in a couple of years. She works for the Army Corps of Engineers, so we would need to find a Corps office in the area where we want to move. I'm a custom painter, so I can move just about anywhere. I hate snow!

No - it's horrible riding here with bad weather, broken concrete, pot holes lots of Po Lice ... what? Oh, I didn't want to start a stampede here because the riding is pretty dang good, actually. I just don't want any more traffic in the ATL area. C'mon down!

I believe there is an office up around Gainsville. The corps manage Lake Lanier and several other lakes.

Great riding year round, Everyone talks about the riding in North GA, there is also some great riding in North west GA as well.

Flowery Branch is a great area. Nice people, plenty of bikes, close enough to the mountains where there is fabulous riding!

You will be right there where we host bikes nights (we are changing venue this year though) lots of rides many dealerships all within easy riding distance. Traffic can be interesting just depending where you work. Thats my only negative for the area.....

Yep, I live in Flowery Branch and it's a great area. Perfectly in between the N. Ga mountains and Atlanta. Not a big fan of Frazier's, and the local yokel cops are dicks, but everything's gravy otherwise.
