Default Getting Bike into Bed of Truck? Tips?

Going to have to haul a bike in the 8' bed of a truck down to Bike Week - any suggestions on the best and easiest way to get it up in there? I don't think riding the brake to get it back out down a ramp will be bad but what's the best way to actually get it up into the truck? We have nothing as of yet in terms of a ramp so anything you can suggest will certainly help, I'm sure!

TIA

pile of dirt/gravel, some 2x10's, an actual bike ramp, a case of beer and 2 strong friends + a chair for you to supervise from?

For me, either lots of help to get it up a ramp,or back up to the lift table.

Sometimes you can find a loading dock that will match up to your pickup or your local dealership will load it for you.

i have short ramps and try to find a loading dock or some hill to help. Also, make REAL sure that your tie down cleats are strong. i have a real nice dent in my tank when one failed (hit a curb).

As long as you can get it in the truck you will be okay when you get there. I'm sure there will be plenty of people to help you get it out of the truck, for a few beers anyway.
