Default Is my new tire too close to my fender?

So I got a 150 Avon as i have run 150 Dunlops and Metz's on my bike no problem. I think the Avon may be a tad bit wider than either of the other two. I ran a 130 last time and decided to shell out a few more dollars for some fatter rubber. this is how close the tire is to the fender on the pulley side. This is with my sir ride dropped all the way. rarely do I ride with it slammed, but I am concerned it might be just a little too close.

When the bike is raised to regular riding height it looks a bit better. Someone told me to loosen off all the fender and strut mounting bolts and to yank the fender to the right and tighten it back down. What do you think? No I have not ridden it yet as it has been raining for days here.

That's a nickel.

Anus.... U cant be that.......... U've been around longer than that.....

If thats all the clearance U got, its gonna rub, and U ain't gonna like it..... thats why its good to check the tire dimensions before installing one..

Now that Ur already done it... is it that way on both sides.????? if not split the difference with spacers... or bend the chit a little..

U said its not that low on rides... soo check it on rides and see what the vell is going on......

Kinda like checking a bomb after it exploded.......

Thought you were selling the air ride? What is the clearance in the normal height you ride the bike at and the clearance at other critical areas such as the swing arm, belt, etc.? Yanking the fender to the right would make it worse on that side!

I meant to the left. The brake side has a ton of clearance. So I figure a spacer between the swingarm and regular spacer on the left side to move it all over a bit. I still am having a hard time believing that the Avon is that much wider.

I would just spread the fender out a bit.
