Default No substitute for cubic inches!

Who has increased the displacement of their H-D's, either increase bore, stroke or both? Was it worth the $$$ and would you do it again?

4.125 Bore, 4.500 Stroke, 120 cubic inches, 10.5:1 compression, 625 lift cam of pure enjoyment. Would do it every time over.

103 from 88 in the 'Train. The bike's a blast to ride. If you're going to do a build, you'd better plan on keeping the bike and enjoying it, 'cause every dime you spend on it (and I spent a sh*tload of dimes) is lost money.

Dyna Super Glide Sport (FXDX) started with the Stage 1 AC. 10 months later the SE-203 cams. A year later, V&H ProPipe, SE heads, bored out to a 95 cubic inch. 94 HP, 99 TQ. A real Sport.

I haven't done anything to my engine yet. I imagine I'll be doing a Stage 1 sometime next year, probably FuelMoto's setup w/PC-V. I'm not unhappy with how it runs as it is and voted "no change in displacement" mainly because that's the truth of my bike right now but I'm not totally apposed to a displacement increase at some time in the future but I really don't see that happening at this point.

To each their own!

Ride Safe,
Steve R.

Dealer was offering Stage II 103 Big Bore Kit with purchase of 2010 models. Only able to ride it home from the dealership and the next day it snowed, but I can already tell, go big or go home.
