How many forum members are actually affected by this recall?

And does anyone know of anyone who had a problem with the mentioned trouble?

All 2009 and 2010 touring bikes. Doesn't affect me...thank God.

Nope, don't affect me either. But I got a question about it.

If yer in a crash that causes the tank mount to distort enough to cause a fuel leak, are you really gonna be on it when the fuel ignites? I would tend to believe the rider may just be on the other side (or burried deep within it) of the object he/she hit when it does...

I thought the same thing when I read it. Odds are the rider is 100ft away from wherever the bike is when it made impact.

I'm going to wait and see what the braces look like before I have them put on.

I am thinking if I hit something hard enough to bend the tank mount, I will not be anywhere around the bike should it catch fire.
