Default When I caught the bug

I'm sure everyone's Harley roots go back somewhere, so I was curious where mine began.

My mom did some digging and found this pic of me on the back of my Uncle Steve's Harley. Guessing I'm around 10 or so which would make the year somewhere around 1993-94.

I dont have a pic but I can remember when I was about 5 or so we were taking a trip to Kansas to see family and somewhere in Oklahoma a club of bikers rolled passed us. Most of been a hundred of them. I can still remember the car vibrating from their exhaust as they rolled by. I think the year was 1979.

Growing up in Detroit in the early 60s was my first introduction to the police garage down the street with those nice harleys for the cops to chase the bad guys..

When I was about 8-10 I loved watching bike racing so my parents bought me a yz 80 and its been down hill from there.

Yeah my first bike was a 1975 Honda Z50. Currently have my Sportster and a dirtbike and my son has 2 dirtbikes, he is 9 and has informed me that my Sportster is his when he turns 18. I was like yeah whatever...lol

i have a biker family(father,mother, brother,grandparents,and verious other family members to many to count) so there was no way to avoid it.
