I know where you are coming from Nori. In England the police all in all are not bad with Harley riders. In fact at one bike night i attend i overheard a guy asking a cop why they don,t pull over Harley riders as their bikes are loud. The cop looked at the guy with utter contempt and replied " Harley,s are meant to sound like that" and walked away.
Stay loud...ish

Yeah ME I remember watching that with all my cousins and adult relatives in our living room, we had the only big color TV console at the time. Good memories.

Default Louder pipe...

I think this is also truth as well.
If there is a bike rider beside a car on a road and if the rider replaced his pipe to louder one, the car driver will notice easier than quiet pipes.
I actually experienced the similar things on the roads.
Of course I think too loud pipes are not good.

Default I heard my pipe's sound.....

I rode my FXSTB last week for a long time with a drilled US's muffler.
It sounded so cool, so I'm very happy now.
The pipe is the sound I wanted.
It is not so loud but sounds good.
Although I will re-change it to a stock muffler for an inspection in 2 years, and will re-change again to the US's one after that.
