6' is tight but a bit nicer to haul//. 7' has abit more wiggle room...My buddy has a 7x16 i think with a side door...he says he has to haul the bike when we go to the mountains for afew days because how would we get the marguarita maker up there...Damn those mudslides are good too....

I'm hauling 2 touring bikes in a 6x12ft trailer and it's REALLY tight. I bought the trailer years ago before two bike bikes were in the picture. I'd DEFINITELY recommend 7x12 or 7x14.

Thanks for all your answers. I recently talked to a guy who had a 7x14 and he was the first person to suggest that a 7' wide trailer was much better for two bikes. Sounds like most of you tend to agree with that. I appreciate your help.

I had a 6x12 to garage my NT when I lived in a Town-home with no garage. I ordered it with an additional 6" of height so I could walk around the whole trailer without stooping.

If $ wasn't a concern, I would go with the 7x14.

Just a thought to add to the mix! If you are willing to go to a 7’x14’, why not go to an 8’x20’ car hauler? I have a car hauler and it gives me the flexibility of hauling 4-Tourers comfortably or my car and a small scooter or use it to haul other stuff when needed.

If figure that there is a larger market for car haulers, if I should ever decide to sell it!

Yes, I had a 6X12 enclosed trailer that I hauled a M109 Suzuki and a Softail Custom in to Daytona Bike Week. It handles well. The first bike is easy to load and strap down. The second bike was okay to load but the strapping was harder. I didn't have a side door that would have made it easier.

When I got back I traded for a 8.5 X 20. I did it more for having sleeping and living accommodations. But I did set it up to haul three large bikes.

A 6 by 12 V-Nose will work just fine for carrying 2 dressers. Here is my Wide Glide in a quick detach Condor chock, in my custom trailer and there is plenty of room for another bike. If I wanted to put 2 bikes in it I would just angle the front bike to the right or left and use another condor chock for the 2nd bike and angle it in also.

My 1 year old like new trailer was custom built for me by a major trailer manufacturer. It is for sale for $4,000 OBO (trailer only). It has all LED exterior lighting, Chrome exterior trim, 3 wall switched interior lights as well as finished aluminum (over plywood) interior with diamond plate and Z track wall mounts (not shown in photos). As you can see, it can be hauled with my car (300 C Hemi) although I would suggest a SUV with a V8 or a truck. The trailer is in Kentucky. Bob

I would buy a 7'. In the long run it's going to be cheaper than selling the 6ft and buying the 7' when you get frustrated with it. The 7 is a little more versatile in the long run IMO.
