Default Glass or Goggles on a weird shaped head, Which one do ya use?

Well, due to the enormous size of my head, big nose and sunken in eye sockets, I am thinking of going to goggles instead of trying every pair of sunglasses I can find. There was a cheap pair of $10 glasses at an HD dealer that worked Ok, they had the foam around the lenses and worked OK. Since then I have not found a pair that fit the same, so I keep having to buy the same glasses just to replace the arms, because they break... they are cheap. I bought a pair of Panoptx for around $160 but ended up giving them to my Indy because they just didn't work right. Now I have a Bagger, and that helped but still, I get stuff in my eyes.

So I am thinking of sporting some goggles. A helmet is out of the question for two reasons. One reason is I hate wearing them and if I did find one that fit and was comfortable I would look like the great Gazoo from the Flintstones.

So which one do you use?

well since my head is realtively normal, I just use my regular glasses (and have a windshield) I get an occaisional ash from my cig in my eye, Theo (ld lady) loves her goggles, keeps everything, including her stray hairs out of her eyes/ (Personally I'd rather be a live great gazoo, then a dead dum dum, and I'm sure I'll get shtt for that statement, but I call a duck a duck)

I think it's safe to say EVERYONE on this forum has a weird shaped head. That's why we ride Harley's! There's probably some deep hidden primordial reason for thick skulls and HD's. Hehehe!

P.S. - love the reference to the Great Gazoo! I used to love that little fella'. What a bizzare character to write into a cartoon about a stone aged family. Wanna bet the writers were tripping on something a bit more hardcore than Stoney Beer when they thought up that story-line!?

I can relate to your big heed, as my local dealer expressed in a light hearted fashion my head size equates to a silverback
And here we have no choice but to wear helmets..

howdy, Great Gazoo here.
I can relate to the big head - but sunken eyes and big nose??

sounds like a full-face with a tinted shield might be a good idea.

...you might even wear it on your bike as well, for added safety! :icon _clapclap:

(sorry - i had to)

By the self description you provided, I'd strongly suggest a brown paper sack with two holes cut in it for your eyes. Seriously, Googles are fine. You can't go wrong there.
