Default T-Rex Demo Ride @ Cycle Word Show...Pics

Sup fellas,

I went and checked out the Cycle World bike show in Long Beach again this year. A few of the manufacturers didn't represent this year, but it was still fun.

I ended up demo'ing a few Harleys and a Victory just for fun, but the best part of my day was having a chance to demo a 2010 T-REX 1400r. WOOOOOW! Period!

- Powered by a Kawasaki 1400
- 0-60 = 3.5 sec (and I got a chance to confirm that )
- Top Speed = 160 mph (Wasn't able to get it up to that speed, being on
public streets, but I did get up to about 90 on Shoreline.)
- Weight =1,000 lbs.
- Build only 200 per year

These things are extremely fast and handle insanely. Coolest thing I have ever driven and they turn heads everywhere. Even the cops were fist pumping as we rode by.

Anyways, if you guys are in the LA area and feel like pulling some G's and haven't been to the show yet, highly recommend it just to set an appointment to drive one of these things.

The gf rode with a professional driver as she wasn't allowed to ride with me for liability purposes. She was able to take some pics as I was pissing my pants from the excitement. Just a real cool experience.

Hope you enjoy...sorry, I'm just still really excited about the experience that I had to share.

Had to wear a helmet (liability) but you dont have to wear one if you own your own since it has seatbelts

Tight fit but actually really comfortable

Putting on the steering wheel after I got in

Look at that rear tire, just screamin for a burnout

Stopped at a stop sign...the professional driver of the other one was really cool and let me open her up, as well as pull up next to me to go at it a bit

We had just opened them up side by side and I was just telling him that was the most insane thing I have ever done. Got up to about 90 in about 5 secs

As you can see, I had him by a couple of yards on the front stretch

Maybe I should have paid attention to the road...

ok, so he got me back on the back stretch

Greetings,

I'm surprised it isn't cheaper...I was thinking it was going to be Kawasaki's version of the Spyder to try and capture some of that market.

Can't see paying 50 clams for a three wheeled car. But there are those that will/would.

That's cool that you got a test ride in (I went to the show too). But at $50-to-60-grand, that thing is not even on my wish list.
