STOP... HOLD THE PRESS, this just in. I have you all beat. After 5 pages none of you even come close.
Me and some friends showed up in Ft McMurray for an ice race, it was -35C. Which is about -32F.
Ever tried to start a motorbike when it's that cold? Most people needed a little tow with a tie down. At that temperature the shocks are like rock. Carb's freeze up because they don't get the heat so much from the engine. Lots of problems that day. Oh, and who won their class that day? haha. tootin my horn here.

When I was younger (long long ago), I used the bike for my only transportation a couple of years. Rode it to work every day etc. All year long. But that was in NC, and it doesn't get quite as cold there as here in NY. Into the 20's, tho.
Here, last year I rode to work one day when it was 18º. Hot Chilly's long johns, wool socks, high-top boots, several layers of shirts, leather vest, leather jacket, leather chaps, dicky, balaclava, glove liners, gauntlet gloves and full coverage helmet. Plus I put the windshield on. It was fine, actually. Just takes forever to get in and out of all that gear....

Rode to work one morning and it was 17* God only knows what the wind chill was at 65mph. It was the worst ride of my life and I'd never do it again since there's nothing enjoyable about being hypothermic.

Im in the Dallas area, it does get into the low 20's now and again wintertime. I ride 30 miles to work and I have never missed a day due to cold, just got to dress for it, the coldest I have ridden in this part of the country is 17 degrees-that was kinda cold. You have to make sure NOT ONE ITTY BITTY bit of skin is exposed to open air/wind chill. It actually physically HURTS at 60 to 80 mph. One time way back when I rode from Alamogordo NM to Cloudcroft in the middle of the winter with a light snow in the middle of the night, I think it was 7 degrees and me and my old Honda 305 Super Hawk just about froze up n fell over. I rode home one morning last winter in a sleet storm at 24 degrees and when I got home My windshield was so frozen over I had to peek over the top now and then to see where I was going, got home and a sheet of ice fell off as I got off Bob. Tonight the forecast for the ride in is 32-30 for the am ride home, Ill be toasty, no heated gear its all in dressing for it.
By the way, in that 24 degree sleet storm my new Thunderheaders without heat shields STILL managed to burn a hole in my insulated overhauls, you can bet I fabed up some heat shields in the next couple days
