11 degrees. Back in the 70's. Had to take a friend to the emergency room, & didn't have a car for some reason I don't remember. Now, I'm acclimated to Florida weather; I don't like riding below 75*.

Numbers are just a pissing contest...

I started doing this in 1967, and I've been in the saddle when it was physically dangerous to be out there...

I'm 60 now, and I'm not nearly as impressed today by how tough I was back then, as how stupid and lucky I was...

Just one old man's personal opinion...but I plan on sticking around doing this untill I'm a REAL old man...just sayin...

2C (35.6F) ambient temp. Not sure what it was with windchill, at 120 kmph. The day I brought my Fat Boy home. (17 Mar 07) Rode about 125 kms home from dealership. Lots of layers, a neck tube, and a full face helmet made it do-able. I was pretty numb by the time I got her home, but still had a great ride. One of my favourite photos ever taken that day. Me riding ahead of my wife and son (who were tailing in me in the dreaded minivan) with clear road as far as the eye can see in front of me, with snowy fields on both sides of the road.

I normally ride until it falls below freezing. I passed a bank sign on the way to work one morning and it said 24 degrees. Shortly after than I rounded a curve and someone had left their sprinklers running. It was an exciting curve but I didnt fall. After that I began riding above freezing only :-) Since I live in the "sunny south" I get to ride most months

I rode to work in 30 degree weather yesterday. I noticed the car's windows were all frosted up when I was getting ready to leave, but it was supposed to warm up so I went for it. 5 miles down the road I had to pull over and ajust my gear to fight off the wind. Still made the 30 mile trip.

The 60 degree ride home more than made up for it though.

36 degrees in Tomah, WI comin' back from Biketoberfest in Florida to Minnesota around October 23rd, 2003. However, live in Florida now and a couple of mornings it was 27 degrees in February...pretty tempting to go out just to say I did, but common sense prevailed and I went back under the covers!

40 Degrees 400 miles Boise to Salt Lake, bought my brand new Black Ultra Classic. Was not even in the market for a new bike. Loved my 04 Custom, until I rode the Ultra. Had to wear my wifes ski jacket and borrow a helmet from the dealer. Tucked my pants in my socks to keep the cold wind out of my pants. Would do it again.
