I was in the service in the Army had a 360 honda in the winter time in the snow I rode that bike from Fort Knox Kentucky to Virgina to baltimore for the holidays. I left and it was to cold for the truck diesel to unfreeze. I rode that bike the hole way in one day.

December 2006 Denver Childrens Hospital Toy Run. I left my house 55 miles away and it was -1. I had a 2006 FXST with short windshield, full face helmet, guantlet gloves with disposable handwarmers stuffed in, chaps, 2 or 3 shirts, leather coat, balclava and I was cold. I stopped every 10 miles or so just to get the pain back. I would go past pain to no more pain and I figured its time to duck into the quicky mart. I got to the staging place and nobody in my club rode but me. They even lived near by. The moral of this story is dont be a dumbass and ride your back when its below zero

Feb 2001, 18* outside. Short ride on a CBR600. Tires don't stick to well when its that cold and cinders don't make for good knee draggin stuff. I Crashed.

It's all about how you dress for the weather. if you are dress for the cold and wind the ride is all ways a nice ride. We have been riding year around 40 plus years. It was in the teens today.

26 is the lowest I rode. I ride every day 1 to 2 hours at least, even in Winter. I wear the right equipment (but not heated), heated hand grips, and I like it as far as it doesn't rain or snow. I never ride when snowing or on icy roads : that means only 5 days max a year in Paris. And prefer cold sunny weather than warm rainy weather.

High teens to low 20's riding over the Tetons in early March is about the coldest weather I've ridden in.
Can't tell you what the wind chill factor was but I played hell taking a leak for a couple of days afterwards.

It was 12 degrees the other day on a ride. Glad it's warmed up to the high teens around here.

I think this picture answers the question. Wife said I had to clean the driveway for her before I left.
