Just got mine back today from Fox Creek. Had to do a little alteration and take in the waist a couple of inches which is a good thing. You don't realize how much you miss them in cold weather until you don't have them and it has been cold down here in Louisiana.

If its below 50 they make a big difference.they also keep your legs dry in most light rains.Mine are so worn theres no mistaking for shiny village people chaps.

I'm a major wuss at being cold. I'll wear mine 70 degrees and below due to the windchill factor, but hey, I'm 5'2".

After about 55 deg. weather mine go on..... Once there on though there staying on they are a pain in the A$! to get off. I have also purchased a [air of Under Armor Ski paints i used for snow mobile trip. All i can say they are very good for long trips no wind no cold air! The cost me about $150 .

no i don't wear chaps i would rather be cold and deal with rocks or bugs hitting my legs, it is a look that has been taken by the g@y and bondage community and everyone identifies it as such, i don't typically care what people think of me but i don't want to look like i'm going to an S&M club when i leave my house, i have my limits... plus i can't get over the look of them.

I'm glad there are people who won't wear chaps because they're afraid of looking ghey. Gives me something else to laugh about, and this world needs more of that.
Like many others, I wear mine when it gets below 50. I'll wear them in the 50's if it's also damp or overcast. Luv 'em.

Starting in the 40's and below. Might add thermals under the pants if it's cold enough. I think that the guys goofing on chaps are the same ones that seem to disappear when the weather drops below 50...The only time I give in and get in my truck is when it's raining. Los Angeles traffic is bad enough on normal days. Way too many morons in the rain...
i don't mind the cold though i can wear t-shirts in 30-40 degree weather, i sweat when it's 64 in my house.
