Default Just ordered my cycle hill tire changer

So my birthday is here and I ordered the tire changer from Cycle Hill which is a no mar product. I also got the scratch proof bead breaker as my front tire has a very narrow sidewall. When you call they answer the phone No Mar which leads me to believe it is shipped from No Mar. It should be here in 3 or 4 days. Tires arriving tomorrow. We shall see how this thing works. I doubt it will be as easy at it looks in the you tube video, but you never know. All I need now is a way to bolt it to the floor in my workshop.

I only change tires once or twice a year but still feel this is a great deal as I can mount my tires at home without having to take them off and lug them somewhere, and then pay to have them mounted. I spoke with the tech and he said that the mount/demount bar and one clamp should be fine for the tires I am changing. No need for spoons or anything else.

I'll post up a review once I have used it.

Cost for the tire changer shipped is $340, and $39 for the non marring bead breaker tip. It comes with a bead breaker that does not have the scratch proof stuff on it, but I want the scratch proof as my sidewall on my front tire is very narrow. So, $379 for everything. I just need to figure out how to drill the concrete to attach it now or get a piece of diamond plate to mount it.

looks fairly simple to mount. Just get a concrete drill bit. drill some holes and insert the included mounts and screw the bolts into it. It all looks like it is included

Congrats on the tire changer and good luck with it. Let us know how good it works. Drill your floor with a hammer drill and put in some lead shields then lag that baby down.

if you have a truck or car with a hitch, mount it on that, this way it doesn't get in the way when you walk in the garage. You'll only use it what about every other year.

I don't have a hitch on my cage. A bud has a floor hammer. I'm actually gonna pick it up at the Cycle World Int'l Motorcycle show tomorrow. Woo Hooo!

I have a heavy-duty Milwaukee hammer drill if you need it.

You should have never posted here about it. Now we will all be going to "Drew's Tire Service" when we need to mount new rubber.
