That's how it goes: You're facing a tough decision, you get good counsel that often offers different or conflicting solutions and opinions -- each option comes with its own unique set of pros and cons. You consider your options carefully, sleep on it, and then go with your gut. If after a reasonable time you see things aren't going right, be flexible enough to make second half adjustments. Parting thought: how many Harley's were garaged at night prior to 1970's anyway??

Agreed, however, at the moment, not a whole lot I can do about it-my wife won't let me pull it in the living room- I ASKED; and I can't afford a storage space at the moment

Hopefully, this issue will be cured in the next couple months. I put the townhome up for sale, so we can get into a single family. My decision was influenced heavily by just the desire to have a house for my "baby". The wife and kid too, I guess......

no you dont need to put it on a tender every day, if you are riding 2-3 times a week you will be fine and your battery will last a long time, now if money is no object and the size of your electric bill is not important to you go ahead and find away to plug that battery in, like others have said you have bigger problems if you are leaving it outside.

Even more pointless to ask about the battery tender if you don't have power for it.

Provided you manage to find a connection, definitely buy one.
One thing, though: not all batteries are equal.
Lead calcium batteries, lead-gel batteries and AGM batteries require different reload and float cycles.
The wrong battery tender can spoil your high performance battery.
If you have one of the high end AGM batteries like Spark or Odyssey, definitely buy a tender specifically designed for such batteries.
