Default PM Grips on TBW

I recently added the PM grips to my 09 road king. The throttle side has a lot of play. I measured the ID of the grips I had available. Stock was 1.024, HD Stealth was 1.016, and the PM grips were 1.042. The bar is right at 1.000. The PM grips work fine and I like them, just want to get the extra play out. They actually rattle going over bumpy roads.

Has anyone found a solution to this? Seems like I read somewhere the RSD tracker grips had a better fit?

Thanks

Can't help you with the FBW, but after I installed my PMs the rubber on the left grip would slide around the metal. I called PM and spoke to a real person (forget emailing) and he sent me a new pair. My point is that they were very helpful, so give it a try and talk to someone there.
