i needed a credit from J&P for a canceled back order. the new Kuryaken FLH heat shields must be in high demand. i paid thru paypal. J&P told me they couldn't credit back thru paypal. other companies have paid me back thru paypal. i had to wait for a check but only took a week. sorry thing was i got an email saying my order had been shipped. looked at the packing list they furnished and it showed the shipping as a back order. darn those computer generated messages. i never had a problem before. but i like Dennis Kirk better. they will negotiate on the price many times, especially on tires. give them the american motocycle tire price and they usually beat it and pay the freight.

I've had some problems with them releasing my order. My CC adress is a PO box, but they can't ship to it and Customer service was having a hell of a time getting the wharehouse to get the order released, this wasn't even on a first order but a second one two months later.

I only order from them, if i don't need it in a hurry!!!

Just purchased some items that I'm fixin' to have to return. Wouldn't fit.....was a misprint in the book. Guess I'll see if they give me the runaround in a few days. Although, I've never had any trouble in the past.

I haven't had any issues with JP yet, but haven't had a reason to make a return. A couple of weeks ago, my order didn't get processed and was going to cause a delay - JP upgraded to 2-day UPS shipping at no charge so I'd recieve it on the orginal promised day. As far as UPS, never had a problem with them and prefer them to FEDEX or USPS. All three have their advantages and never had any issues except with USPS, stupid postal carriers that leave neighbors mail in my box, and vice-versa!

Your not the only one. I am a Gold-Club member, but after the **** that they pulled on me, I told the to take their membership, company, and service and shove it all up their azz.

Sideways
What'd they do to you eazy?
Sorry it took so long to get back.

I was planning a trip with my Dad. I have ISO grips on my bike, and he thought they would help in keeping his hands from going to sleep. I ordered a set of grips for his bike. I wanted to move the horn on my bike in and out of my knee, https://www.hdforums.com/m_454178/tm.htm so I ordered a Softail horn stud for a new bracket I was fabricating. I ordered these things 17 days before we left, and thinking I would have plenty of time to work on the bikes, went through the process of removing my horn and my Dad's grips (he was swamped with work, and I was doing the install to help with time (I know that I shouldn't have removed them, but hind-sight is always 20/20) I ordered these items along with rain-suits and other parts.

The parts took 14 days to arrive, and when they arrived, the grips were wrong, and the horn stud and one of the suits were not included. I HAD TO LEAVE IN 3 DAYS! I called them up, only to be meet with an indifferent attitude about my problem. Had to speak to 4 different people and pay for a new set of grips before it was decided that the replacement parts would be next-day air shipped to me, but it was too late for them to go out so they had to wait for pick-up until the next day.

The parts were installed in time, but the headache in dealing with the problem was not worth it. I understand that mistakes are made, but the attitudes of the first 3 people did not help me to look highly on their company.

Brian, you give up to easy. I would demand to speak to someone in charge of the guy or gal thats in charge. I would send them a copy of my AMEX bill and demand that if there not going to give me a refund to at least send me the parts that I have paid for. I mean they can't keep your money and not send you the part. You sent the others back right? So your out the money and you don't have the parts. Like you said if you had the parts you could give them a way or better yet sell them on ebay. If I didn't get satisfaction I would write the BBB, send letters into every motorcycle publication, post it on every forum, take out an ad in the newspaper and so on.
