Cold Weather riding tomorrow
Ok I dont' get many days to ride this time of year but anyone around Oregon better get some in the next few days. Tomorrow low of 35 and a high of 48 sunshine. I'm out the door.
However I really really need to invest in some better cold weather gloves. I have some leather ones and wear a thin nitted ones under then but it doesn't do the trick.

Hey brutal,
I am riding from Toledo to Portland tomorrow...been watching the weather for days.
I have a couple of appointments at the VA hospital and hope to hit AMCHD in Albany on the way back to see about getting front tire replaced....
I can hardly wait. I have my gear all set out and ready, got to leave about 7am. I am wearing my light ski gloves tomorrow but taking along my leather lined with the knit liners like you wear as well. I want heated grips and have some new heritage style bars, so I am waiting to put them on after I get some Heat Demons.
Have a great ride tomorrow!

It was 38* when I left for work this morning. It warmed up to about 43* about 15 miles out. I bought some gloves a few years ago that are lined with wool. my hands are never cold.

Wear a pair of latex gloves, the cheap thin ones, under your regular gloves. They break the wind and if it isn't really cold, your hands will almost sweat. Cheap and effective.

Same story around Massachusetts. It's been in the low 40s these past few days and it's been really windy, which is the worst part of it. Layer up and layer up some more. You can always take some off if it gets too hot. Gloves are a tricky part. I bought some HD leather gauntlets that have begun to stretch. I'm going to get some thin first layer gloves from a camping store, which I think should do the trick. Goodluck in these winter months.
