Waiting on UPS..

RE: Waiting on UPS..
I think it was said best by hangnman
UPS seems to be willing to change delivery location, or leave a package if requested and signed for before, and tend to have an understanding attitude. FedEx would not leave a package, would not change the delivery address, and then hung up on me. (Thus the context of the second sig. line) I called back after calming down, and was told by a different rep that I would either have to be available when (meaning whenever) the package was delivered, or drive to the Distribution Center, 45 miles away. I explained that I am working 12 hour days, dealing with a death in the family, and did not have 2 hours to drive to get a $9 package. They said "Well, there is nothing we can do outside our normal avenues of resolution." The package had to be returned to the sender, and was resent through UPS.

Well my package made it, BUT I had to go after it. The UPS guy finally passes down the business street to start delivery in the area, so I think sweet only about 20 minutes and he will be heading back down this way with my fairings. As I sit and watch the BIG BROWN truck getting closer he stops two doors down then I am next. Here he COMES and THERE he GOES ........... I think WTH I JUST read it was OUT FOR DELIVERY. I get in my truck and chase the guy down a few stops down, he says "Nothing today my friend" I reply it says I have a package out for delivery at my address. He looks and says HMMMMMM you sure did, how did I miss that and blames it on his lil computer.
Long story short the lower fairings are now installed and look SWEET, I will get a new picture up soon [sm=icon_cheers.gif]
