Being a newbie to Harley's I'm learning here.
So please tell me if I'm wrong but, i get the feeling that "super bike" riders seem to frown upon us, is this true??

If so why? i thought all riders were united, but it seems there is some type of segregation among us.

It could just be a UK thing or my imagination but either way i would like to know.

Have anyone else found this or had any experiences they want to share.

 

1st off... Dont bother yourself what others think about you. You bought a bike to enjoy it for yourself, so do so...

Have you ever heard the old saying "Birds of a feather"? Well, thats what its like riding... In my experience anyway...

 

+1 - Different bikes for different styles of riding, and I'm not the least bit envious of plastic.

I agree with you. Most of my friends think I'm a fool to get rid of my Ducati and buy a Harley. But I love my RKC and I'm not looking back.

It goes both ways though. There are many posts here where Harley riders are bad-mouthing other makes.

That's only because the other makes suck!

I was looked down upon long before I got a Harley,so I guess I am used to it and just didn't notice any difference.

 

Unfortunately, its a two way street. You won't find me talking down about other makes but that just not my style.
