First I was afraid I was petrified that you would not like my ride.
Kept thinking I could never live without your acknowlegement of my life.
But I spent so many nights thinking how you did not like my Bob
I grew strong and I moved on.

Amusing. When I rode Wings I always felt like the HD guys were giving me a hard time. Now my Wing riding buddies give me a hard time (although most them are only doing it out of fun.) We still ride together, and one of them went to a Street Glide. One guy just can't seem to let it go, so I finally asked him "why do you ride? I ride for fun, and right now this is more fun" Wouldn't surprise me to see a few more guys experiment and "cross over to the dark side"

Very true. I have had many plastic rockets and I do sometimes miss the power, but from now on it HD for me. Moat spoer bike riders do not like HD and most HD riders don not like sport bikes.

I love all kinds of bikes. They all have their specific mission in life, and there's no one bike that is great at everything.
If I had enough garage space, I'd probably own about 10 bikes...one for every kind of riding. Harleys, Ducatis, BMWs, Triumphs, Yamahas, you name it, I'd have it in my barn.

That's probably pretty true for a majority of riders...definitely not for me.

.....i'm sure they do think no better of you. They probably think that hd riders are the same white, middle class, mostly fat, middle aged rednecks, riding loud *** bikes w/no power, trying to dress up like 1% gangsters. Doing stupid stuff like bar hopping on their bikes. And their bikes are non-disposable because their 2 year old bikes only have 500 to 1,000 miles on them, heck they should last forever at those mileage rates.

I always am the bigger man and wave. I think most Jap riders feel us Harley riders think we are above them or too cool to wave. We have enough problems in this country and dont need to frown on someone elses prefered bike choice.
WHAT HAPPENED TO PEACE AND LOVE?? We're all on the same team.
