The simple answer is that for some reason all too many people think that purchasing a Harley will give them instant status and respect in the motorcycle community, and they develop a superiority complex.
Nothing could be further from the truth (no matter what they may think).
The fact that you own a Harley does nothing to elevate your standing in the 'biker community'.
How you are seen by others is based on your actions and deeds, no matter what you happen to ride.

Having rode bikes for over 23 years and have had too many to remember.
Now I own a Fat Bob and I feel part of the best bike club in the world.
Sports bike riders do not like each other let alone Harley owners.
Why worry enjoy your Harley.

+1 on that. I also appreciate those coming from the opposite direction on a two lane twisty staying on their side of the double yellow line....I get a might testy when they don't.

Next time there is a group of "super bikes parked" pull the tractor up beside them and take note as to what bike draws the attention....Rubber side down mate! Born in Liverpool,,,,Now live in ontario canada.....

Wow, the dude has all bases covered. I don't think you could say a word to him, or about him without a multi line insult in response. He sure has a lot of insulting terms.
You have to wonder what a guy like that would be like in the real world. He must have to think that way all the time. A real winner, that's for sure.

he goes from hating harley riders for driving thier BMW's and Lexus SUV's and in the next paragraph calls them for inbred knuckle dragging rednecks. he's trying but he isn't on maddox's level, he is... dare say... a poser and wannabe?

If you're en route from Marazion to Helston, you could easily blink and miss Germoe altogether.
I really miss Cornwall sometimes, but not all that bloody rain!
Never had a bike down there, might not have survived if I had. Those nice green hedges either side of those twisty little back roads are solid granite!!!!!!

I'm new to the forum. I just sold my 07 VTX and bought an 07 fxdb. This topic will never end. I just like to ride. If all i could afford was a moped I would ride it just to be on 2 wheels. I'm sure most of us feel the same way.
