Harley engines are dumb, not nearly as smart as their owners.
Engines could care less what you feed them, as long as you replace the fluid and filter at reasonable intervals.
Probably for every Harley running the latest 'super duper' oil there are 50 bikes using regular old HD360 or Castrol GTX 20W50, and they are perfectly content and happy cruising down the highway for tens of thousands of trouble free miles.

This might harken back to the old days of the castor based oils like the old Castrol R oil. If run in a 4 stroke it worked well but would turn into a sort of rubber gook if mixed with dino oil. Very bad. Don't think you can buy Castrol R any more. I used to burn it in my 2 strokes as it smelt cool !

I been driving for the last 40yrs and I only
met one person with a oil related issue.He never
changed it and the vehicle took a dump.
People get so fired up over different brands
just change it with whats recomended when you need to. IMO.
