My son in law has his Dads owners ring wears it religously since he died of cancer about 10 years ago.
1 day we got off the bikes he pulled off his gloves and the ring slipped off. he didnt realiize it. I call him the next day and he sounded like he'd lost his best friend. I ask him what's wrong.
He says I lost dads ring.
I tell him to come over I found it in the driveway when I came home from work.
I had a hard time believing it laid out there for over 24 hours and nobody saw it on our black drive. It being gold it stood out.
Boy he was happy. took us out to dinner.

Is there anything they won't slap a bar and shield on to try and make a buck????
I don't even wear a wedding ring. I tattoo'd my left ring finger because I dislike rings. That, and cleaning welding spatter off of gold is a major PITA! That ring was beat to hell when I stopped wearing it!

I wear a gold bracelet. I stopped for a free dinner @ Texas Roadhouse on Veterans Day. When I pulled off my glove, the bracelet was over the glove and slipped off as well. I didn't notice. The next day, I went back and looked in the parking space, and there it was, laying on the ground, glistening in the sun.
