Was checking out the HD catologue and I was looking at ape hanger's. In small print it say's something to the extent, will not accept heated grip's. Why not? Does anyone have heated grip's on their ape hanger's. Thanks.

 

I don't. I don't know anyone around here that does. I do have plug in heated gloves that I'll use when it's real cold and I have a long ride.

 

I would assume that if you are looking in the "HD" catalogue that all their stuff is going to be bolt on to their "stock stuff." If the heated grips have a specific leangth power wire to work, it might not be long enough to go through apes. You might have to buy them them "customize" them. (cut, lenghten, solder, and shrink wrap) the wires.
