Why is the Harley SE heavy breather so expensive?

Harley's name is on it. I like the Companies bike but don't really care for anything else they put out. To much money and not built that well.

if they were cheaper, then every kid & his brother would have one. Then 90% of the bikes they were on would look like ****.
I agree they do look good...but only on the right bike!

You think HD breather is expensive go check out the prices on the hot dog super duper custom bike builder air cleaners that look like heavy breathers. I put a heavy breather on my bike and the ol lady didn't see it before i put it on. I rode it around the house to show her and she looked at it and said, "My god, whats that thing?" Told her i got a pretty good deal on it, paid $220. She just shook her head in disbelief. I guess the look has to grow on you over a period of time.

The Jesse WCC coffin breather is one I would love to have.......but the darn thing costs 600 bucks

Yup I bought one. I like the looks and performance. Just like the Big Radius exhaust I put on at the same time. I could care less what anyone else thinks. It's all a matter of your priorities!
