HD parts are priced so high for one simple reason...

Because some people WILL pay it!

They really aren't all that expensive when compared to most of the others out there. I was thinking of a Roland Sands but went for the cheap S.E. Heavy Breather instead.

I have an SE High Performance air filter I got off of eBay. Don't know if the same applies, but my SE HP filter is actually a K&N filter...
