Harley made in USA leather Jacket ad
Saw an interesting Harley ad on the back of the new American Iron Magazine. It was for the HD Epic Leather Jacket and said "Hand sewn in America".I read here that some of you don't care where stuff is made but I do and I'm glad that Harley is starting to get the message that some of us don't like all the made in China crap they sell.

Sure hope H-D is listening about Made in the USA products.. It is scary to see how much of our productions has gone outside our borders in my lifetime.. My wife has a H-D jacket with a Made in the USA tag she bought about 5 yrs ago.. I have not been able to find one from H-D in my size.. I have made in the USA jackets but not frm H-D..

That's a start but I believe they are using imported materials.. What's wrong with American leather? Not a big enough profit margin I guess. I wouldn't nit-pic but there are American Made of American Materials jackets available for about the same price as HD sells its foreign ****.

The EPA is probly choking off the leather makers here.

Men's Epic Leather Jacket
Midweight leather jacket with poly-mesh lining,... blah blah... Made in the USA of imported materials.
So yeah... What's wrong with American leather and textiles ? At least they gave a job to some illegal to sew it by hand on American ground.

Still wear my "made in USA" H-D jacket from '76. Horse hide lasts a long time and is TOUGH! Have looked at some of the new ones offered by H-D and they are thin and seem more like a fashon statement then real protective leathers. One time down and they are history. But then you get to go out and drop another $400-$500 bucks on a new one!
