Local Dealer is now selling Polaris.
Went to my local H-D dealer today, the Taj MaHarley in Glenwood Springs, CO, hadn't been there for a while (it's 60 miles away) and half the showroom was full of Polaris ATV's, snowmobiles and SxS's. Only about 12 H-D's on the floor, used to be around 30. I asked them about it and they said they bought out the local Polaris dealer and they now sell and service Polaris products. Makes sense to me as 1/2 the year you can't ride anyway around here, so keeps people coming in the door and pays the bills. I know that the Polaris parent company BRP also controls Victory Motorcycles, just thought it was a strange alliance? The dealer I bought my NT from who is 120 miles away now sells BMW motorcycles?
Anyone else have a joint H-D / polaris / BMW dealer? may very well be a common occurence, what would I know, I live in the sheltered region of the Rocky Mountains of Colorado

Not such a rarity anymore...Farrow's in Columbus Ohio was carrying Thunder Mountain bikes for awhile, and Aces & Eights in the Cincy area before they went out, was carrying Sucker Punch Sally...

I figured it was a business move, owners of dealerships have to expand product lines outside of H-D. It was just kind of weird seeing a Camo Polaris SxS hunting rig next to a H-D Street Glide, way of the future I suppose.
