The denim paint is pretty low maintenance. That is what I own and prefer.

Vivid Black rocks..............for about 10 minutes after you wash it. Very hard to keep it looking clean, at least in my dry dusty environment. From the bikes I have seen the denim colors seem to hide the dust layer a little better.

Looks like there is no clear cut winner. Who woulda thunk?
If you look at my pic you will know which I would vote for. There are good and bad points for both and you will be the one riding and looking at it, so get the one you like the best.

Vivid all the way. No special paint or wax and you don't have to worry about the fading, you can buff it out, accessories match it. Need I say more?

if you go denim, do some of your accessories in vivid

if you go vivid, do some of your accessories in denim (or wrinkle)

you can't really lose either way, but the way vivid and denim play off each other is great

I have had both and prefer the denim, I wash about half as much and after 2 years and 11000 miles still looks new. The vivid was nice also just buy some harley gloss because you will be wiping it down a lot.
