What he said.
ORIGINAL: grunt

From what I hear it is good. But most people use their leaf blowers to do it.

Have a small compresser and use that....my leaf blower sucks[:@]

How often do I wash my bike??? Depends on the riding I do....

- Went to the beach last weekend lots of mist so lots of salt and it gets a wash...

- Long ride...depends on what she looks like and what I went through.

- Ride just around town...maybe once a month, if its dirty or I just wipe it down.

I use my shop-vac in reverse. And I can use the attatchments to get different spots. And the hose is lightweight.

Just another idea.

I got an Air Force Blaster for father's day, and it works great. Blows hot, filtered air and drys the bike very well, especially in those hard to reach places.

Regards,

Bill

I currently use a leaf blower that the FD I work for owns (b/c it's free). I thought I was the only one using accelerated air to dry my bike, guess I was wrong, but so many people who ride look at me like I'm silly when I tell them I use a leaf blower to dry my bike?! I have thought about getting one of those "cycle dryers" to keep at home, and from reading what people have posted here I guess I will now...thanks for starting the thread.

I've been using my leaf blower since the first time I washed my bike. It works well and I already had it.

I have one of these and would recommend it to anyone who washes a bike on a regular basis. I wash two bikes and it really saves alot of time.
