Armor leather coat...anyone wear them?

Have Kevlar mesh...warm weather in Southern California.

Lots of armor.
Be careful of plastic mesh - if you slide it gets hot and melts onto your skin.

Posted pic's before,
In my accident this Spring, I had on the FXRG Leather jacket with all the armor in place,
I was ejected from the bike due to a deer running out, unseen, in front of me and I hit it broadside, slid about 15 yds on a tar and gravel road,
The armor in the shoulder area took the hardest hit, the elbow area next,
I received neither a broken collarbone, nor arm injury, which I believe is due to the cushioning effect of the armor,
The zipper pull on the pocket was ground completely off, leather rules on tar and gravel!!!!
I did have 3 broken ribs and a partially deflated lung, but there was no armor in that area of the jacket,
