Default Bike won't start

I have a carborAted 04 softail night train,I went to go for a ride the other day and I turned the ignition on, switch the on the run button and hit the start button and the motor just cranked never fired, so replaced the coil and crank position sensor and still nothing I did notice that when I turn on the ignition then turn on the run switch the engine light doesn't come on like it should....real confused?? What else could it b...

check your lead that plug into your crank sensor make sure it is seated in and not broke also check your fuses with test light with ignition on test both sides of fuse they should show hot both sides and check all breakers

Check your grounds,have seen alot of folks lately with corroded grounds.Clean with a wire brush and put dielectric grease on them.

do you have spark ??
do you have gas??
check the petcock it is vac. operated no vac. no gas..

Why did you replace the coil and crank position sensor? It would be easier to give you some ideas on what to check if you were to tell us what you already checked.

I replaced relay fuse, ignition circuit breaker, coil and crank sensor, I checked for damaged wires, I'm getting gas, but it just won't turn over, the engine light is not coming on before I start the bike

My thoughts as-well...some people will just start changing parts before pinpointing the problem. Can get real expensive
