I weigh in at almost 320lb. My bike is close to 800lb. If the lights don't trip I just bounce up and down on the seat till it does. If yer a light-weight, maybe find a couple fat chics to ride with ya?
In North Carolina motorcycles can legally run red lights if you sit through light cycles. Check your laws as I wouldn't be surprised if your state is similar.
i live in nc too , i thought it was if within three the lights dont cycle you can run it. I have to do it leaving work because the sensors dont pick me up.

Not sure it's the weight that triggers it. I think it's the size and mass of the metal. So I've been told.
