These are small like you are looking for and they will last you a life time.

Thanks for the continuing ideas. Dennyo, those look pretty close. I do like the idea of asking a horsey company to custom make a set, and I may do that, although it seems like there oughta be sumthin out there, given the vast number of makers that exist.
As much as I like Fox Creek generally, I just don't love any of the bags they make. That heathersleathers operation makes some wild stuff. Actually, the worshamcastle thing may be the best bet for me. I'll keep an eye on that site.
Still kinda of in limbo on this.
