I've been pulled over twice. All the cop wanted was to talk about the bike!

I think every man wants an HD, no matter what they ride.

 

The inside scoop of the sportbike. I like to think of myself as a mature and responsible adult, however even with the best of intentions once astride a powerful sportbike the hardest thing one can do is stay the speed limit. These bikes have the capacity to run with or better than, exotic sports cars, and to truly twist the grip and turn one up will bring on the best of adrenaline rushes. Ive hit 140 on the entrance ramp to the big slab (interstate), and not be pushing the bike full potential. Stupid,, very,, fun,, sometimes,,, its a different type of riding, on a different type of bike.

 

That's the funniest thing I've heard all week!

There is a bike cop I see most mornings on the way to work, he's riding a Harley. The guy waves, I wave back, I actually look for him now, seems like we see each other at the same spot every day.

TNW, I would never run from a cop. If'n I'm wrong, I'm wrong. I'm man enough to admit it. I don't ever give the guy a bunch of bull dooky either, I'm not going to waste either of our times. I just keep my hands where he can see them, and let him know I'm not stupid, just a traffic law offender...my experience is, these guys don't care about me, their just doing their job, and most are looking for some a-hole...more idiots are found on routine stops than most of us know. (Or so I've heard).

For those of you who remember my past pictures I had three bikes. The Fat Boy of course then a NOS Hayabusa and a zx6r. Well, I just sold the Hayabusa which I had well over 60,000 miles on it. It gave me many miles of ultra high speed fun. I still have the 6r for those days I want to hit some high speed curves and straights. It is no NOS Hayabusa but it will still do almost 160 mph on the top end and high 10 in the quarter. Not bad for a 600cc bike.

A couple of my friends had that happen to them. They lucked out too cause they just came from a bar.

 

It was a long weekend up here i the Great White North and the OPP (Ontario Provincial Police) had their usual blitz on for speeders and drunks. They clocked a guy coming down Hwy 400 at... get this... 300 kilometers per hour!!! That's about 186 mph for my American brothers! Vehicle??....Rice.
